I’m a filmmaker from Glasgow, Scotland. When A Man Loves A Woman and Middle Man are available through Peccadillo Pictures. I’ve recently finished a mini doc with composer Francis Macdonald for his upcoming album Hamilton Mausoleum Suite.
Apart from directing I’ve been a video journalist for STV, a video diary operator on Carnival Cruise Line, AD’d on a low-budget sci-fi feature, been a jury-member for The Iris Prize (£30 grand is still the biggest short film prize in the world), and done some intro-to-film teaching.
Middle Man was nominated for Best Entertainment at the BAFTA NTAs, and enjoyed a worldwide festival run, including Cannes Short Film Festival, and Sydney Mardi Gras.
I love all of the crafts involved in film and TV production, but directing, then editing, are where my heart lives.
